I'm Shubham Bhatia, an AI Product Engineer with two years of experience building at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human need. I currently work at Dozee, India's leading contactless health monitoring platform, helping build AI systems that track vitals like heart rate, respiration, and sleep — without a single wire touching the patient.
My day-to-day sits between data science and product: evaluating model behavior, shaping how AI surfaces insights to clinicians, and turning ambiguous health signals into features people can trust. It's taught me that good AI products aren't about the model — they're about judgment, guardrails, and knowing exactly where a human still needs to be in the loop.
Outside of work, I'm usually a few chapters into a book, or you'll generally find me messing around in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, or finding a just-so way to relax with some jazz playing in the background. I'm also deeply inspired by stoic philosophy, and find it really helps me stay grounded — a bit of a lifesaver when it's crunch time in a product cycle. Led the development of a mobile platform to boost resident engagement, with features like a maintenance tracker and event calendar. Created wireframes in Figma and a PRD in Notion, resulting in a 40% faster maintenance response, 20% higher event participation, and 25% better operational efficiency.
Explored Amazon QuickSight, a powerful business analytics service provided by AWS, to visualize and analyze Netflix's catalog trends. This hands-on experience allowed me to delve into data-driven decision-making by creating insightful visualizations.
A Streamlit-based app for interacting with a conversational chatbot powered by the LangChain API. Uses the Groq API to generate responses and maintains conversation history for context.
Designed a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) on AWS, creating a public subnet with automatic IP assignment for accessible EC2 instances. Also attached an internet gateway to enable seamless internet traffic flow, deepening my understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking.
